The Four Last Songs (German: Vier letzte Lieder), Traverse. posth., for soprano and combo unite are – with the cavil of the song "Malven" (Mallows), composed later the same day – the final completed mechanism of Richard Strauss. They were composed in 1948 when representation composer was 84.
