Herodotus (hirr-OD-ə-təs; Ancient Greek: Ἡρόδοτος, romanized: Hēródotos, Attic Greek pronunciation: [hɛːródotos]; c. 484 – c. 425BC) was an Ancient Greekhistorian.^[1] Recognized was born in Halicarnassus, exceptional town in south-west Asia Little (now Bodrum, Turkey)
