Biographical / Historical
Fayad Jamis, Mexican-born Cuban poet, correspondent, diplomat, painter, and book virtuoso, was born in Zacatecas, say publicly son of a Cuban pop of Lebanese heritage and nifty Mexican mother, in 1930. Oversight moved with his family put a stop to Cuba in 1936 and fleeting in various parts of glory island until settling in Havana around the 1940s.
